CUSTOMER PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

1. Purpose & Scope of Data Collection:

The data collection includes Email, Phone, Username, Login Password, Customer Address (member). These are the mandatory information that Mekong Experience Travel requires members to provide when registering for services and for Mekong Experience Travel to contact and confirm when customers register for services to ensure consumer rights.
Members are responsible for the security and preservation of all service usage activities under their username, registered phone number, password, and email. In addition, members are responsible for promptly notifying Mekong Experience Travel of any unauthorized or misuse activities, security breaches, or the retention of third-party usernames and passwords for appropriate resolution.

2. Use of Information:

Mekong Experience Travel uses member-provided information to:

  • Provide services to members.
  • Send notifications about information exchange activities between members.
  • Prevent destructive activities, misappropriation of member accounts, or impersonation activities.
  • Communicate and resolve with members in special cases.
  • Do not use member's personal information for purposes other than confirmation and related transaction contact at Mekong Experience Travel.
  • No one has the right to infringe on the personal information of members.

3. Information Storage Period:

Member's personal data will be stored until cancellation is requested or members log in and perform cancellation themselves. In all cases, member personal information will be securely stored on Mekong Experience Travel's servers.

4. Persons or Entities Accessing Information:

Entities accessing customer personal information include:

  • Employees of the company.
  • Partners with signed contracts to perform part of the Company's services. These partners will receive information according to the contract agreement (may be part or all of the information depending on the contract terms) to assist users in using the services provided by the Company.

Member customers have the right to check, update, adjust, or cancel their personal information by contacting the website administrator to perform this.

Member customers have the right to file complaints about information security content, please contact the website Administration. Upon receiving these feedbacks, we will verify the information, and depending on the level of accuracy, we will take timely measures.

7. Commitment to Customer Personal Information Security:

  • Member's personal information on Mekong Experience Travel is committed to absolute security according to Mekong Experience Travel's personal information protection policy. The collection and use of information for each member will only be carried out with the consent of the customer, except as otherwise provided by law.
  • Do not use, transfer, provide, or disclose to any third party any personal information of members without the consent of the member.
  • In case the server storing information is attacked by hackers leading to the loss of member personal data, Mekong Experience Travel will be responsible for timely notifying the relevant authorities to investigate and handle the case and informing the members.
  • Absolute security of all online transaction information of members including digitized accounting invoice information.
  • The management board requests individuals, when registering/purchasing, to provide full relevant personal information such as: Full name, contact address, email, phone, account number, payment card number..., and take responsibility for the legal validity of the information. The management board is not responsible for and does not resolve any complaints related to the rights of that member if it is found that all the personal information provided by that member during initial registration is inaccurate.

8. Mechanism for Receiving and Resolving Complaints Related to Customer Personal Information:

Any disputes between the Company and Users will be resolved based on negotiation. In case of failure to reach an agreement as desired, either party has the right to bring the case to the competent People's Court for resolution.

When not resolved through negotiation or mediation as above, the violated party compiles evidence such as emails, messages, etc., and contacts the Company. The Company will contact the complainant to resolve the issue.

If the case exceeds its jurisdiction, the Company will propose to transfer the case to competent authorities. In this case, the Company will still coordinate to provide the best protection for its customers.
